Hello, it used to be that to tether with an Energy ROM we needed to have a SIM card in the phone.
I read some postings in the last few weeks thanking NRG for "fixing" the need for one; so I assumed that now it worked without a card. I tried it and I could not get it to work without a card.
Has anybody know if there is an actual "fix" or we still need the SIM card to tether the phone?

It works for me when I first flash the rom, but seems to stop working after a bit. Not sure if its registry settings or installing/running other apps that breaks it. But the "fix" is that there's no longer a selection box for choosing which data service to use. This used to be broken because you couldnt make a selection in that box without a sim card in the phone, so you couldnt even press the connect button. Now, the problem I get is that it just waits for data service to connect after I hit connect.
