The EVO is huge, but it fits in tight jeans just fine (with BodyGaurdz) and once you watch videos and browse the web on that massive screen... Wow. There's no going back.
But it's the plan that kills you in the long run and a pretty smile and a good story are enough to replace a cracked iPhone (Foxconn is still evil). I know from experience  .
If it saves you money, go for it!
Oh and by the way the screen resolution on the Epic is the same as the EVO. The pixel arrangement on its AMOLED screen actually "blurs" text but makes movies and pictures look... well... epic. LCD's (like on the EVO) are still the best for use in sunlight. Still, the iPhone has the best screen in every area with its crazy resolution. Hands down.
Power management on AMOLEDs (glares at Samsung's software department?) is still iffy and could hamper you depending on usage. It definitely hobbles the Nexus One. |
True. GSM Coverage is worse in most areas, even if its internet speed is faster (not faster than "4G" though).
