Re: Audible Air error on HTC TP2 WM65

I got another build from Audible. Here it is. I am testing it now.
Edit: It seems to work Fine. Here are the notes I got with it:
I'm writing to let you know that I have a newer build of AudibleAir for Windows Mobile/PPC devices available. This build specifically fixes the error you may have been experiencing when attempting to sign in to the AudibleAir application and received the error, "error sending activation data to Audible server."

Even though you were receiving this error you still were able to refresh/load your online library and download your titles wirelessly. To avoid further issues in the future you can install this version of AudibleAir to your device. First you can uninstall your current version of the AudibleAir application and install the latest build from the link below.

I have included instructions below just in case;

- Uninstalling AudibleAir:

1. Select the Windows Start Menu and then select Settings.
2. Next select the System tab and open Remove Programs.
3. From the list, highlight Audible AudibleAir and select Remove. Select Yes to confirm that you want to remove the selected program.
4. Close out of the Settings windows.
5. Next select the Windows Start menu, select Programs, and then select File Explorer.
6. Browse to My Device > Program Files. With the AudiblePlayer folder highlighted select the Menu button and select Delete. Select Yes to confirm deletion.
7. Next delete any previous install files from your phone. The install file will be called AudibleAir_PPC.CAB. You may not have this file on your phone but this will ensure that a previous version is not getting installed.

- Installing New Build of AudibleAir:

Once you uninstall your current version of AudibleAir you can install the latest version of AudibleAir using the link below. If you are able to open this email on your device, you can go to the link below using your browser on your device. This will link directly to the .cab file (install file) for AudibleAir.

http://audible.custhelp.com/ci/fatta...401/1289592679

If you can forward this email to your phone so that you can open the link in the browser on your phone but if you can't you can save the cab file to your computer and transfer it to your phone via USB.

1. Click on the above link and save the cab file, AudibleAir_PPC.CAB, to someplace that is easy to get to such as your Desktop.
2. Connect and sync your device to your computer.
3. Using Windows Explorer drag and drop the cab file, AudibleAir_PPC.CAB, to your device (someplace that is easy to get to such as the My Documents folder on your device).
4. Next, disconnect your device from the computer.
5. Using File Explorer on your device, browse to the location that you copied the cab file, AudibleAir_PPC.CAB.
6. Open the file, AudibleAir_PPC.CAB. This will install AudibleAir to your device.

Please let me know if you experience any issues. Thank you sincerely for your time and extreme patience.

Sincerely,
Jakup A. - Technical Support Lead
