Glass half empty - only improved it by 3/4 of a second.
Glass half full-cut the rotate time in half.

Give it a shot. It definitely does something.
Thats not bad! Its worth the effort. I noticed that the gsensor need this after a conplete flash from odin or clockworkmod. If I dont, I get a terrible 4-6 second lag when I try to get it to switch to landscape. After doing this fix, its ad fast as eclair just like you said, under a second switch.
