Those of you who have the Captivate or Vibrant and are having GPS issues — which is most of you, right? — may be in luck! Samsung has posted a fix to their official support forums.
There are two steps:
- Ensure that “Use wireless networks” is selected in your settings
- Download GpsSamsungRestore from the Android Market and install
According to the FAQs from Samsung, these two methods are very beneficial to those users having GPS issues.
