While we're discussing this, maybe someone can tell me how to install 3rd party apps in XDAndroid? Does it use .cab files or some other type? Where's the file explorer? I don't know about 5 hours of batt life... I was getting that maybe back in August, but battery issues have been stablized for months and I routinely get a full days use out of my phone doing everything I would normally do in WM... some people just arent cut for the learning curve although to me it's MUCH easier to grasp than WM ever was. To each his own.

Without clicking Update or changing any advanced settings, I booted into XDANDROID. With Android in this state, is a candidate for immediate removal from my phone. A shame - I was hoping to at least be able to get into the Market, but I can't even get that far.

Not sure what to tell you, I've had those issues in the past but with the latest builds I find it to be very minimal anymore. At this time I would agree with you that it would better be left off your phone.
