You just need to install one of the WiFi Router cabs and you can share your data connection to anything that can connect to wifi. Look in the favorite cabs thread. Click on the paperclip icon.
FYI You only root Android based devices. The TP2 can be unlocked with hspl if you want to flash a custom rom.
