I was trying the first link, the update, yeah it does take a while. One of the files errors in winrar too, its the one he says to move around I think.

Got my phone to the 4 colored screen, and windows recognized it but it still wouldnt sync with windows mobile device center, I just uninstalled that p.o.s. altogether. Every time I tryed to install a rom it would error till about 6am and one randomly worked. (noticed my desktop glitch and took that as a sign) It was the energy standard one and apparently it doesnt come with verizon as a coverage option so Ill have to try it all over again..

Actually I think the coverage thing is my fault since I set my phone to factory default when I thought it was bricked..
