Sprint Online ESN Swap Not Working?
I've been having problems with the Sprint online ESN swap for a week now.
Last weekend I fixed up a messaging phone (Exclaim) and was able to swap it for my touch pro. I just wanted to see if the phone worked and it did. I then tried to activate my daughter's old BB Curve and the online ESN swap didn't work. I went through all the steps, enter the DEC/HEX, select account changes/options (no changes) enter email address and hit "go" it sits for a while a comes back with "Sorry. We need to assist you in activating your new phone call.... or use the chat link". I hit the chat link and the rep was able to activate the Curve without any problems. I figured maybe they need to intervene to set up the blackberry features or something. Last night I tried to reactivate my Touch Pro again and got the same error. I had to wait until today to get a hold of them via chat.
I've been able to complete the last two swaps with the Chat rep, but it's still a pain. I asked the chat rep, today, why the online swap wasn't working and all she could say was "Due to technical errors on site.".
