This is on TP2, sprint stock rom.

Problem is resolved for now.

It appears to be a corrupt contact somewhere. When the problem happened, i would press "3" and the smartdialer start a list, i notcied there is a "blank" entry between two entries. Doesn't do this if I start with another digit.

I hard reset and then restore contact with PIm backup 2.8 and it started happening again.

I hard reset again and now used HTC data backup and everything is now fine.

Very strange indeed.

I will eventually use a new rom, but i just got the phone and wanted to see just how "bad" stock rom is first, so i will have something to compare with.

Didnt change my profile cause I wasnt even sure if I am going to keep this TP2 yet or go android.
