the only issue with rooting is the automatic updates if i remember correctly. thus that is the only thing holding me back. I may wait a few months to get the 2.3. I do hope that Android 3.x will work also. the only thing is they said android 3.x honeycomb is for tablets. so if that is the case then what version numbers will they use for the next new full non point release version 4? so then even releases are for phone and odd releases are for tablets? and chrome os for netbooks? too many os systems, they need one os for them all.
