OK -- this slow/buggy dialer issue was becoming an increasing productivity problem for me so I rebuilt the ROM using 23139 (instead of 23569). Dialer problem is gone now and everything is running fast and bug-free AFAIK.

I'm only having one issue (thus far) with 23139. I cannot view my exchange mail by "conversation" (i.e. threaded) -- the option isn't available to me. I CAN view my gmail account using the conversation/threaded option. Weird but not a showstopper...
