I have been having some random rebooting issues for a while now and have been trying to pin it down. For me it nearly always happens when I am streaming video either from a web site or occasionally while using sling mobile. I have tried several different versions of this ROM going as far back as right after the Froyo release. I have made sure to wipe everything and once flashed I don't install anything, just go right to a web site that contains live video streams, and it always comes right back. I have done some searching online and also have found this is something many people have run into with the EVO. Many of them saying it happens two or three times an hour and that it can actually get caught in a loop where it just reboots continually for 8 to 10 times in a row. I just experienced the loop deal last night where the phone just did a random reboot and then ended up doing it 6 times in a row before it settled down and sat at the idle screen like it should. Many reports have indicated they worked with Sprint service who also couldn't resolve it and that it seems to be a known issue and they end up replacing the phone. After getting the replacement phone they say everything is fine. I'm afraid that is the direction I am going to be forced to head. One thing that does seem to help if you happen to be one of the people who have turned off the always on GPS to conserve battery, if you turn it back on, it does seem to fix the problem in many cases. If anyone knows any more about this I would appreciate any help.
