If you are certain you have the latest NBH, modules, and rootfs, then some other application running in the background is keeping it on. Try starting with a fresh data.img and maybe format your card and start clean if that doesn't fix it.

I've had the latest couple of nand builds on my device for at least 8 hours each and have had the opposite of what you are reporting.
