I only used my insurance once, maybe three years ago. I had dropped it while using it as a flashlight in a plenum while looking at faulty duct work. Hit the concrete and the screen shattered. It was a Treo 650. I called them up, told them I lost it, and they said come in tomorrow and we'll replace it.

I dunno if they still do that.

Do you use a Micro SD card? Do mail and texts and programs use it? It may be the card. Just a thought.

Sometimes when electronic devices get odd on you, try calling the UN. You may be able to convince them to send a strongly worded letter to your device. It may make it shape up, or it may not. On second thought, that's never really worked out all that well
