Oh. Yes. Indeed it is connecting and associating. This was working fine on the previous ROM (as previously reported). If I think about it it was working until I installed your data disconnect cab? That doesn't make sense. Does it?
Anyway, I reflashed.
Had a buddy come by late night and try his phone's wireless connection. Didn't quite work so well. When it did connect to web pages, it was slow then stopped working completely According to his device (HTC G2) signal good but a tracert died at the gateway.
What bugs me is every computer in the house that use wireless (3-- two XP pro and one Win 7 64) connect and browse no problem, so likewise I assume it's a problem with the phone.
In summary
Things I've tried- Reflash router
- Reflash phone
- HTC G2
Things to do- ping my firewall dstro's mailing list (monowall)
- take my phone to other APs.
- is there a way under windows phone / mobile 6.5.5 to constrain TX/RX rates of the wireless adapter?
With WP7 basically out and such, I feel I'm fighting a loosing battle.
