Solved:
Not sure why but the official RUU are changing something besides just the bootloader, recovery, system, data, boot, and nv(misc) data. I have tested this several times and when you update to 2.1 official then attempt to downgrade to 1.5 build 1.56.651.2 using the official RUU something isn't restored correctly.
Here's what I did, found the
RUU_Hero_C_Sprint_1.29.651.1_signed_release.exe and ran the update. Now back to normal and still rootable.
