OK, after you change that reg value then soft reset and verify that it stuck. Then open something like email and deploy your keyboard and then try what I said in my first post here. Click on the up arrow and see if you can find the keyboard.
Thanks again. I reset the phone and confirmed that the change did in fact stick, but my keyboard options did not change. I only have Phone keypad, Compact Qwerty and Full Qwerty.. The same three choices as before.
Hmm...I never noticed this before. As I understand it the sip types are part of the sys so the keyboard should be there somewhere. Does it even show you the option of other input methods?
