update**
finally did this mod. you do not need to remove the 2 screws under the label. comes apart just from the screws in view. I followed the wire leads on the videos and noticed, when i charged the device...it thinks that im charging thru the computer and gives me the option of "mass storage", charge, and tether.
any thoughts?
