Deleted my texts and emails. That all gave me a few more megs, but didn't go back to normal. I even tried using a backup file from a couple of days ago and it's still like that, so either this has been happening for a while and i didn't notice or backup restore doesn't fix it. Anyone got an idea as to what's going on?

Have you tried clearing temp files, cache, history, and cookies lately? Download and run ClearTemp for this.
If you can use a tool like MemMaid or SKTools it will show you exactly how your memory is used.
