Sprint's TP2 is already "unlocked" for using Sprint's GSM sim card. Don't use their card!!! Sprint charges a fortune for GSM in Europe. Go here:

Just got back from 2 weeks in Italy and it worked great. No other Sprint phone works like the TP2 as a world phone.
