Hrm, that seems opposite of most. However, it seems almost every time I receive a call either the radio cycles, the phone reboots, or it turns on the speakerphone and reboots within Android.

I've said it before - I'll probably say it again - I avoid calls like the plague in Android for the time being. There's some hope with a new ril wrapper, but so far no joy on that.
I've had similar experience with the android shell restarting in the middle of phone calls. I rarely have the no sound issue, but I regularly get it switching to speakerphone all by itself and then restarting the shell. What's odd is I can keep talking while Android restarts, but right before it the shell is fully loaded it seems to drop the call.

Luckily, I don't get a whole lot of calls, but since I help run our enterprise servers, I need to have the phone working flawlessly to use Android all of the time. I do plenty of testing, but at the end of the night, I usually flash back to wince for the next day
