I have gone to mulitple ROMs back and forth (including 1.40) and the only time I have had issues is when the SPL was the worng one for the ROM. If it is the unificial 1.4 radio, then use an unificial ROM then use SPL 1.20

This is how I would get back to this rom and radio from you current version
Run titanLocker
Hard reset phone and let it boot, as most likely the phone will start to reset once it loads and run programs J . By doing this the phone stops on the Welcome screen which seems to stay stable enough for a flash and where ActiveSync first becomes
available.
Run the Unlocker 1.2
Boot to SBL boot screen (camera + Power)
Flash ROM
Boot to SBL boot screen (camera + Power)
Flash Radio
Start Phone up normally

A lot of times I find that after a flash the phones doesn’t always boot past the SPL, to get around this
In ActiveSync go to connections and un-tick Allow USB Connections
Run Mtty choosing connection type USB
Type command Set 16 0 and Enter
reboot
