I dunno. As a person whose primary phone is an Android device, and a regular user of homescreen replacements, the Home key has been given a lot of functionality by developers. Spareparts offers a very weak substitute in the End key, and though I understand some of the devs here might think the Home key is useless, I wonder if it'd be more reasonable to take some sort of poll to see how users actually feel about it.

Recent programs isn't *providing* multitasking, no, but for any user who wants fast app switching, it's the most user-friendly method of pulling it off.

It's kind of like the 'Last' key on a TV remote. Yeah, sure you can punch in the channel number of where you just were, but it's AMAZING how often your average couch potato uses it.
