I don't get it, I just tried and I get the same behavior - I'm not using extUSB, I'm using the 3.5mm jack.
I get the same behavior - all audio breaks except for the jack. What exactly are you doing to get it to work...? Anything special?

I must have missed something, what was the impetus for this change?
And please, don't think I don't appreciate what they've done, for free, to get Android going on our phones. I'm not demanding any changes, merely voicing my concern for a change that appears to be taking a step back rather than forward. If it gets changed back great, if it doesn't, I'm not asking for anyone's scalp!

Unfortunately I think they should've made power=power from the beginning... I think someone finally decided to take it upon themselves to fix that silliness. Since we were used to power=home, a bunch of people freak out. C'est la vie.
