It would be hilarious if that was released around the same time as the pro 7.

next thing would be whether or not Galaxy S goes with an Epic 2 or just the standard Galaxy S 2..since knowing sprint they won't release 2 phones with same form factor for the high end branch...(unless they get a revelation next year)
Two things the WP7 will launch at minimum a month in front of the rumored evo 2 or evo 2 pro. Sprint would not release a new os and then a more powerful older better os it would be a sales disaster, if wp7 pro launch late march then evo 2 pro late april at the earliest. Whenever sprint launches a major device (i.e pre, evo , epic, tp2, wp7 pro) it makes sure it has a 30-60 day window of little to no competition,(non-smartphones dont count) (another example look at oringinal diamond to tp1 42 days gap) to cannibalize sales, but Im hopeing that magically the wp7 pro launches late feb early march (I know wishful) then evo 2 pro comes out late april. But it would be nice if a good wp7 device comes out I still want wp7 but not with the wp7 pro specs.

Secondly the hummingbird chipset can be clocked up to 1.3 with stability from samsung (told to me by my kc tech friend but alot of people know that) but does drain more battery, with little added heat but for that to happen sprint would have to be requesting a follow up epic and he did not say anything about that due to the fact probably the epic is wayyy too new the evo started development in 2009 hence a follow up needed.

Now he did tell me sprint asked for msm8x60 chipset to go head to head with motorola droid enterprise launching early second quarter with a dual core 1.2-1.3 processor but motorola itself has stated that it will be launching a device like this. So thats no secret and due to motorola having an handshake agreement with verizon sprint wants to compete hence the msm8x60 processor. Now if it pans out who knows.
