This is how devices get made, Htc and sprint starts to talk about future products, Htc gives sprint a description on whats in the pipeline, sprint give htc an order sheet with descriptions and request they meet in the middle.
With in the last month sprint submitted a order for a follow up evo device with and without keyboard. At least 4.3 on both with msm8x60 chipset front facing camera, 4g, and speaker phone. Htc is suppose to deliver a number of mocks to sprint by nov 20. A final decision on the design of the device will be made before the new year and testing will began in jan-feb for a april may launch with gingerbread.
I called him to find out about wp7 and why are the specs so bad, and why is it releasing so late. He told me that its not sprint its MS they held up cdma testing even though they had devices to test for a while, secondly there is a big update to wp7 thats happening end of first quarter beginning of second quarter 2011 most of the developers know about this update, and he believe thats why MS held up cdma launching. Now he has no reason to lie to me so im taking his word because hes been more right then wrong in the past. He did show me the evo almost a half year before it came out. So thats all i know. Now i have to say sometimes his timetables are wrong but his devices are never wrong.

Man I hope that is true. An Evo with a tilting keyboard and dual core processor is definitely something to get excited about.
It would be hilarious if that was released around the same time as the pro 7.
