I use Alarm Clock Plus v.2. You can find it in the Marketplace. It puts the display in landscape when you turn the phone on it's side...it also has an included screensaver which activates after x minutes (changeable in settings). It allows you to show a slideshow of your pictures (however, not as a screensaver). Seems to be an all around great alarm clock too! I love it.
