What reason would I have for making excuses for an HTC 7 pro? also does Evo have surround sound and xbox integration?
Well since the GSM and CDMA Touch Pro 2 have the same specs, I'll assume the Touch Pro 3 does too, unless HTC tells me different. Engadget is not an official source and they have been wrong plenty of times on future device specs. I'll take HTC's website (the device maker) over engadget every time.

No, the Evo doesn't have surround sound, but I don't see where the pro 7 does either (a different phone does). The Evo does have HDMI though. No excuses can change that either.

It's not even really close, the Evo has better specs. 4G?
