I haven't seen any apps with a "-" I have seen a few with a tilde "~" the tilde means that the original price the app is set for is not in the currency that your phone is set for. in other words, if it is a british based app and the price is set in british pounds, my phone set for the us will show "~$4.99" which means that the price will vary based on the current exchange rate.

I hope that is what you meant... if not. uh. I guess anyone who didn't know that now does, lol.
