ok so after hours of looking into this issue i realized we have many possibly reasons why this could be happening. The libqcom.so we use was never designed to work with wvga devices. This is because qualcom never made an msm7k device with wvga screen. In anycase we always had a theory we would need to butcher the binary lib and see if we can change the mem locations with a hex editor.. well tonight i did that to see if it was the reason and still no positive results.. the good news is that this might help in the long run or at least answer the question about "can we mod the qcom lib?"

i sent the lib over to the xdandroid guys to see if they need it.. In the mean time im still battling our 3d issue since this didnt seem to solve it. Sorry
