Well ive already stated my reasons for why I like the phone in numerous post by now but in general the form factor is similar to the tp2 and it has enough specs to (most likely) do what I would want it to do. HD Camera /w flash, Fast OS, Fast enough Processor, Tilting screen, FM Radio, possible 16 gb compared to 8 on other devices, XBox Live, Netflix Streaming, Zune capability, Exchange connectivity...I could go on but to me this is more then enough reason to buy the phone.
Just cause I like the device doesnt mean im not a tech head. Im just looking at the bigger picture as to why "I" like the device and why I think it doesnt make sense to bash a phone before even the os of the phone in released. Example is I got a 5 Series 2000 BMW and it like the car very much but want to purchase a new car. The 2 new cars coming is the rumored 2011 M5 and a 2011 5 series. Both cars have new engines but naturally the M5 is faster with more speed features. Well if I never have a chance to drive it over the speed limit of 60 and the 5 series has other features I like about it over the M5 then why not buy the 5 series? I just dont understand why the guys that want to spend the extra to get the M5 or Lambo or whatever would bash the 5 series for coming out with less specs.
Ive already used other supposedly better phones then my TP2. I had a chance to own a droid incredible, a droid X, the fascinate, trial period with Epic, Palm Pre Plus, Droid 2, Even the iPhone 3Gs. I always felt myself returning to the TP2 at the end of the day. Call me crazy but for me its no longer about just specs. Its what I want my phone to do and thats it..maybe im just getting old but until I see another VERY similar device with better specs than this one (Tilting screen with 5 row keyboard coupled with the specs above) then ill see this is my buy. At this point though you can continue to bash the phone as much as you want I was just saying there will be people that will like the phone and bashing it seems unnecessary. If its not what you want then why not just post about what you want that is coming rather then bash something that hasnt even had a chance to make it out of the door.
