after reading through the thread i now see that i dont need to have an activesync connection after being prompted to unplug the cable, but after i go through the instructions it says that it is supposed to take 10 minutes and it doesnt even take a minute so i figure im doing something wrong. also the screen doesnt show anything as far as what my phone has when it gives me the option to press update. it doesnt show the current rom at all. it is just blank.
