EVK is just so user friendly that I never really learned about all the intricacies under the WM hood. I really gotta do some serious reading before I switch completely.
Did you download Groove's Kitchen?? If not, I would. Things will clear up a little for you. It is more user friendly and builds a much better ROM. Also a lot easier to check you registry, initflashfiles.dat, etc.
