At least, that's been the outcome of the 27 class action suits that have been won on my behalf so far. I've "won" a $.50 check, a $30 service credit (payed out over 10 years! Yep, that's 40 cents a month right there!) and various other useless things. In no case were the law firm fees *less* the 10 million.
How much you want to bet that 5 years from now everyone will "win" a free copy of Microsoft Picture It! for this latest MS lawsuit? And 20 Million for the law firm....
God bless America.

I agree....
But I don't care about getting money....I have plenty of money. The point is that it puts a dent in the companies pocket....that's the point. 50 cents here and $40 there ain't shit to the plaintiff. But when the class action includes thousands and thousands of class members....companies have to pony up....big time. That's what it's about...penalizing compaines for not being honest, accountable, or responsible.
Joing in a class action hoping to get paid is almost always pointless.
