Yea so if anyone doesn't want their GMail/GVoice contacts to sync with their phone. Do this: Settings> Accounts & sync> Google. And then uncheck "Sync contacts". What I did was as soon as I added my Google account, I went into Settings and unchecked "Sync contacts" right away so I wouldn't have to delete the contacts after.
