I was an early adopter of Vista and initially had all sorts of problems, which I eventually traced to a bad motherboard. Swapped out the mobo, ran a repair install, and I have a rock solid Vista 64 system. My only real frustration was finding 64-bit drivers for my scanner. I figured out how to get a Frankenstein driver going, which kept me going until the manufacturer released a driver. (I wasn't keen on dropping $300 for a new scanner that was essentially the same model with updated drivers.)
Sigh. I wish my Mogul was that solid. I have several issues that I keep hoping the ROM update will fix. Given all the cr@p that I did to get my scanner going, it seems like it might be trivial to go through all the steps to put on one of the custom ROMs or the leaked 3.16, but I think at this point I'm better off waiting for the final release. But that's just me.
But to repeat my earlier remarks, this thread wouldn't be so long and tempers wouldn't be so short if Spirnt and HTC would get their acts together and engage in a little communication with their customers
