Yeah, that's just a feature of the dialer, I really don't know if it works but that dialer has to be used with this SYS. Press down on the volume rocker on the side to mute it.

Out of curiosity, how come HTC messaging had to be removed? I don't remember this happening in past ROMS. Of course maybe I was not too observant.

Upon further review, it's something in the CHT files causing it actually. Will have to look more into it.
