You will be able to attain full root with this. If you dont fully root, then (copied from the sticky):

I guess my pushback to this as it is for most unrevoked users is, I don't mind doing it the long way, but all the stuff in the post above I can do. I have and did remove all the sprint stuff, I have flashed a new radio, I have flashed a new rom (fresh to be exact) and I have installed programs on the SD card.... so still my question is why would I do it another way, what's the bemefit when i am doing everything everyone is saying i cant? Same with rom manager, I havent had any trouble with it, yet people say to not use it, i don't understand....
