DCD 2.3.1 rom general thoughts

I'm running dcd's 2.3.1 rom with WM 6.1 and the 3.27 radio on my xv-6800. It took a while to get everything up and running. I flashed the rom first then the radio so I didn't lose my programming, but I did lose my data password. All, that needed to be done was a reset, and then entering the data connection user information.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with everything. . the only problems are occaisonally when in standby I can't turn it back on and have to perform a soft reset. The backlight won't come back on at all, yet the phone is still running in fact I've accidently called people and yet can't turn the backlight on.. so that's a little weird, and it reset itself once and the touchscreen locked up once, but so far after three days of tinkering it's been pretty stable and I must say it seems even more efficient and stable than the oem 2.09 rom especially with all the programs running. It locked up 4 times with the original rom and I almost threw it out the window.

I'm really liking the GPS, which is the primary reason I flashed. Now it doesn't feel as bad that I payed so much for the phone. I just want to give a shout out to all the people involved and everyone that's written these helpful threads. Imcokeman, dcd, no2chem, and many more. All the issues I've had so far have been discussed and solved here and everything I've wanted to do with the titan I've been able find out how here. Keep on cooking these roms guys.
