Eh, I can see both sides of this argument. I don't want this type of data flying around, but you're absolutely correct in stating that other carriers/platforms do the same thing - without ANY warning whatsoever.

I think Google is getting targeted because they're newcomers, and their whole 'Don't Be Evil' thing... I can see how many feel this violates that statement.
