If you go and ask to have your account serviced or phone upgraded, you might be surprised if they refer you to telesales because they have very limited authorization for SERO lines. This has happened to me twice in the last month or so. Assuming this is part of their recent SERO changes (like no more TOL on SERO), how does one expect a 3rd party retailer to activate a phone on your account when Sprint stores can't do it?
I think it's worth calling ahead to just mention the word "SERO" - my guess is that the friendly Radio Shack employee will suggest you kindly stay away because he can't help you.
With that said, I'm eagerly hoping for for word on the first SERO line to go SERO Premium and then back to SERO.

Well I know when I go I have never mentioned "SERO" to the best buy employees. I just always play dumb and say a friend set me up with the account so I am not sure what type it is. They usually ended up calling Sprint and Sprint always authorized the upgrade. Will it be different now? Quite likely, but it is possible it may go through. I think some of it all depends on the Sprint associate BB gets.
