As an amateur photographer, I am simply amazed when I read people saying how good the camera is. High Megapixels <> Good camera.

The only shows I find usable are ones outside during the day. Anything in low light is too noisy, shutter speeds are too slow, or they are horribly overexposed.
It's a phone...can you expect much more? It's more of an addition and a + for people to have these things on their phones...live with it or buy a nice real camera or camcorder...geesh.

Anyway, Vignette minimizes the image noise and has more adjustments. It makes things bearable. But generally as you said, the more light the better
The Iphone may have a better sensor...it may have a smaller mp...but it's just like the Evo...they both have decent cameras...that are meant for those quick shots...just like the quote I answered above...they arn't high end cameras with huge nice inards...they are a simple chip...with simple software running them...Go buy a $700-1000 HD camcorder or a nice DSLR....Why does everyone make such a big deal over these cameras?
