Looking for a way to do this or a program in Windows Mobile.
The iOS program called "Awareness" monitors environment sounds and patches in the important ones when your listening to music over headphones. If a sound is interpreted to be "important" such as a horn honk or someone talking to you, it patches it in.

This would be particularly useful to me since I have a pair of Shure SE430's that block out sound like no tomorrow....
I was thinking a mixing program similar to one in Windows could get the job done. I've looked all over for a sound mixer type application, found 2 related to DJ-ing, but nothing to accomplish this.
