I'm using 23138 and I've found that just lowering the GDI\GlypheCache limits to 131072 (hex:00020000) dramatically reduced GWES.exe's mem usage.
Calk's defaults are 153600 (hex:00025800).
I figured out that 153600 and 131072 are acceptable values... They are based on different multiples. It's just kinda like using 768 (thirds) vs. 512 (halves). I dont know if this makes complete sense, but this is the type of thing I try and figure out when I break my kitchen or nothing new has been released for a while. Haha.
All I know is that it makes sense to me AND it works: does not lower performance and it seems to let gwes handle memory a little bit better.
All other issues I solve with HTCAddicts CleanRAM.
