OK here's my take on zero page pool...
ZERO PAGE POOL = AWESOME!!!
Windows now has enough free ram (w/CSM) to manage itself!
So, those of you flashing to the Sept 20 ROM, a couple of you please give it a shot please would love to hear other feedback!
Never slowed or locked up, never ran out of memory.
One thing to note: If you start 40 programs at the same time... (number pulled out of the sky) at some point you're going to run out of RAM... then either you or the system have to decide what to do about it.
I found if I just kept opening programs endlessly, even with (auto shut down off in advanced config).. Windows would start to shut some of them down around 10 MB left... I then tested (alot) & kept opening them, it seemed to manage them after the init shut down anywhere under 18MB free...
That's a bunch of multitasking to get down to 10MB from 90!!
BATTERY IS AWESOME
~my 2 cents :>))
