Re: 4G in Denver

I'm Surprised I haven't seen this brought up here before but Sprints Wimax is not technically 4g.

Taken from the 4g wiki

"The Mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e-2005) mobile wireless broadband access (MWBA) standard is sometimes branded 4G, .....blah,blah,blah....
Sprint Nextel has begun using WiMAX, branded as a "4G" network."

We've already seen that T-Mobile's HSDPA can be faster than Sprint's "4g" wimax and they're not calling it 4G!

Don't get me wrong I love my Sprint Service(Especially the $30 Sero plan with 22% discount.) I suppose you should be excited about your increase in speed , I would be if I was being shafted for an extra $10/month. But do you really think you'll be able to watch that much more Pron than us lowly "3G" Sprint users?
