i have FINALLY successfully tethered my tp2. I was having problems with any Energy rom that was built after mid-august. Others have posted that if you put a blank sim card in, everything will work then. I didn't want to deal with that though. Here is what I did because I know that others have been having the same problem.
The problem is simple.
Some of us experience a <none> in the network connection field.
The first thing I did was go into windows folder with total commander. I renamed intshrui.exe to intshruibak.exe. Then, I installed the MightyMike fix. This can be found
here
I installed that. Went into registry and changed any values I could find from intshrui.exe to intshr.exe.
Went back into windows folder and created a start menu shortcut for intshr.exe
Now, internet sharing looks like this:
After successfully launching that a couple of times, usb awareness app auto launches intshr.exe for me.
