There are plenty of reasons to hang onto the TP2. It is still a competent smart phone.

But judging from the OP's questions, I'd probably say yes, it's time to move on. "Cutting edge" was long gone with the TP2 about 6 months ago. There won't be any new OS developments (besides the XDAndroid port which still is very much a work-in-progress). There are very few cutting edge programs being written for Windows Mobile either.
