What I can say is, it's not dead here, a lot of folks are still working on it, mostly with Sprint because this is the only phone for SERO now.
But if you notice, for the world outside here, not a lot people are doing works on WM6.x anymore. For any company looking forward to launch any software for mobile device, they need to first decide which platform to go with. And first they will start with Apple, then most likely include a version for Android. They won't bother with WM at all from about a year ago. So basically the apps for WM are at least 1 year old. Is this fair to say? For Android, google did a lot cool stuffs dedicate for it because it's its only child, they include Apple in some cases just because iPhone is very popular, there's no reason to fight against money. Also blackberry is also dying, sad to say that, but it's really true. One reason is that blackberry updates their OS and break the compatibility a lot so to my understanding, an app can work on some versions or devices but not others.
These are based on the app developers point of view. If I want to make profit on an app, I won't pick WM as the platform. On this point, WM is dead.
Sad to see that because I'm locked on WM because of SERO but truth is truth, I can't pretend deaf just because I like my TP2
